Creating a healthy work environment for team members has been one of Leviatan Design’s priorities since its inception 11 years ago, as a provider of integrated architectural and civil engineering solutions, with 100 percent Romanian capital.
Leviatan Design, a promoter of digitization in the construction sector, heavily invests in state-of-the-art technologies and innovative solutions, enhancing its ability to manage complex projects and deliver solutions to the highest standards. All these would not be possible without a solid team, acting as a unified whole. Therefore, the company is constantly concerned with providing a healthy and positive work environment.
The Leviatan Design team has solid technical knowledge and consists of architects, MEP engineers, and structural specialists, project managers, and administrative staff, who deliver quality to every project they develop. For them, Leviatan conducts personal development programs, supports each team member with customized specialization courses, promotes the benefits of sports by facilitating access to gyms and sports events, conducts massage and stretching sessions at the office, and provides colleagues with the necessary resources for energizing the mind and soul: fresh fruits, coffee, books, or thematic parties that facilitate socialization and human interaction.
Thoughts that inspire
A tool meant to bring Leviatan Design team members extra inspiration and help in their daily activities is the Thought Organizer, which each colleague receives at the beginning of the year. The Organizer is not just a simple agenda but a significant source of vitamins for the mind and soul.
Its story began in 2016, with pencil sketches, centered around the people from the Leviatan team and their thoughts. As these thoughts were put into writing, the Thought Organizer gained more color and meaning.
Each colleague at Leviatan Design receives the Thought Organizer at the beginning of the year.
The digital edition of the Organizer, launched in 2023, aimed to facilitate interactions among team members and create a framework where everyone can share inspirational ideas. Last year, the Thought Organizer adopted the photographic concept “Miniature Worlds,” developed by visual artist Anca Dușe. The result was the creation of 12 artistic compositions featuring Leviatan team members in unique poses.
As part of this campaign, a contest called “Thoughts That Inspire Us” was also launched to reward the most beautiful thoughts and ideas. The contest was structured in 12 stages, and at the end of each month, a winner was designated, who received a MysteryBox.
In January – The Month of Goals, Marius’s thought won him an annual subscription on Upriserz, Romania’s largest subscription-based online education platform. In February – The Mother Tongue Month, Florența shared a quote by William Shakespeare, which received the most votes from colleagues, winning her two tickets to a play at the National Theatre Bucharest.
Denisa had the most appreciated thought in March – Women’s Month, and was rewarded with a voucher at THAIco SPA. The most appreciated thought in April – Earth Month, was Mirela’s. Her prize: a unique experience for two people at Crama de Piatră.
For her thought in May – Family Month, Roxana was rewarded with an experience for four people at an Escape Room and lunch with her family at a restaurant in Bucharest. Dana’s thought was the most appreciated in June – Children’s Month. A quote about childhood earned Dana a yoga, meditation, and coaching session at the SUNTUNCOPAC studio, along with her daughters.
Roxana, a colleague from the Legal Department, won the July stage – Friendship Month, after sharing an inspirational quote on this theme. Her prize was an invitation to Stand-up Comedy. Dedicated to inventors, August brought Gabriela from the Legal Department into the spotlight. After sharing a quote about inventors, she enjoyed an unforgettable experience in a Boeing 737NG flight simulator.
Daniela, from the Bidding-Estimates Department, won the September stage of the “Thoughts That Inspire Us” contest, dedicated to the Romanian Engineer and Builder, with a quote by Albert Einstein. Daniela’s prize was an 800 lei voucher at Dedeman. Denisa, from HR, won the October stage, dedicated to the Architect, after sharing a quote by Richard Buckminster Fuller. Her prize was an 800 lei gift card at IKEA.
Marked every year on November 16, the International Day for Tolerance calls for mutual understanding, respect, dialogue, and cooperation between cultures, civilizations, and peoples. Not coincidentally, this became the theme for the penultimate month of 2023. This stage was won by Oana, from the Bidding-Contract Management Department, after sharing a quote by Miguel Ángel Ruiz. Her prize consisted of two tickets to the Picasso Effect exhibition and a complete culinary experience at a restaurant of her choice.
The end of the year is a propitious moment to be grateful for all the joys we have experienced throughout the year. Therefore, the last month of 2023 became, at Leviatan, the Month of Gratitude. The last stage of the “Thoughts That Inspire Us” contest was won by Roxana, who received an 800 lei voucher at eMag.
Values that inspire
At the beginning of 2024, the new concept of the Thought Organizer was presented, based on a series of values with special significance for Leviatan Design. In this context, a new competition was launched, this time aiming to highlight how the values in the new Organizer helped Leviatan team members navigate the challenging path of personal development.
The contest will run throughout this year. At the end of 2024, the author of the most appreciated personal stories, published over at least six calendar months, will receive a surprise prize worth 5,000 lei.
