The Unmanned Systems Forum, the most important event in Romania dedicated to unmanned systems, has reached its third edition this year. The conference takes place on February 23-24, 2023, organized by the New Strategy Center think tank, in partnership with the Ministry of National Defense, with the support of Leviatan Design.

Current security situation, analyzed at the Unmanned Systems Forum Conference

The event discusses the current security situation in the Black Sea region and has particular importance in the current international security context, considering that numerous unmanned systems, as well as systems capable of countering them, are used in the war in Ukraine.

Angel Tîlvăr, Minister of National Defense, Eugen Mavriș, Air Fleet General, and George Scutaru, CEO of the New Strategy Center, are among those attending the Unmanned Systems Forum conference, along with officials, civilian and military experts from Romania and other NATO and EU member states.

“Obtaining agility regarding investments in strategic infrastructure is vital for Romania. To shorten the public procurement process and the project implementation duration, modern contracting approaches are needed, along with the implementation of artificial intelligence solutions and the use of a standardized design model,” said Cătălin Podaru, CEO of Leviatan Design.
