Two major projects have recently been added to the portfolio of Leviatan Design, a company with extensive experience in managing complex projects in areas such as military, medical, educational, industrial, administrative, and residential.
The first project, contracted under the regulations for public procurement from NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA), is scheduled to run until mid-2024 and involves the design of a series of buildings and storage platforms, as well as a heliport within the 57th Air Base “Mihail Kogălniceanu”, located in Constanța County.
Specifically, Leviatan’s specialists will manage the design stage, to NATO standards, for a military equipment storage building, a vehicle maintenance building, a multifunctional storage building, a series of storage platforms, and a heliport. The execution phase of this project will be ensured by a contractor to be designated in the upcoming period.
This project is particularly relevant for Romania’s national security, as a provider of security within the NATO alliance, considering the current international context. The mission of the 57th Air Base “Mihail Kogălniceanu” is to participate in the defense of the airspace, in the formation of deployable force packages, and in supporting state institutions and local authorities in emergency situations.
The second project entered Leviatan Design’s portfolio after the company was declared the winner of a framework agreement with the Municipal Administration for the Consolidation of Buildings at Seismic Risk, valued at over 60 million lei excluding VAT.
The framework agreement encompasses services for energy auditing, preparation/review of technical-economic documentation for phases such as DALI, DTAC/DTAD, DTOE, PT, DE, AS-BUILT, as well as technical assistance for the consolidation of 275 buildings in Bucharest.
With a validity of 4 years, the agreement was divided into two lots, both won by Leviatan Design with the maximum score of 100 points.
Leviatan will soon sign the agreement for lot 1, valued at approximately 50 million lei excluding VAT, targeting 225 historical monuments with a developed surface area of about 450,000 sqm, including Casa Nicolae Petrașcu, Casa Suțu (Lahovary), and the Pinacoteca Palace.
Lot 2 has already been signed and is valued at approximately 10 million lei excluding VAT, targeting 50 buildings with ordinary characteristics, without heritage value, with a developed surface area of about 100,000 sqm.
