The project involved the design of a pavilion to ensure the smooth running of administrative activities within the Borcea 86 Air Base.
The administrative pavilion consists of a single building body, has a height regime of S + P + 2E and a useful area of approximately 6,500 sqm. The pavilion includes conference and meeting rooms, offices, technical spaces, sanitary groups, and other spaces for daily activities.
Leviatan specialists used BIM methodology to perform this project, which allowed them to achieve a high level of quality in the design process, within the term assumed by contract, and the execution stage could thus start on time.
The building designed by Leviatan Design will have a double skin facade, with architectural elements made of expanded sheet panels, which has both a shading role and a visual filter.
The Borcea 86 Air Base is currently in a process of modernization and expansion of the existing infrastructure, where specific military activities take place, in which both the Romanian Armed Forces and troops from other NATO member states participate.
The works at the administrative pavilion thus continue the investments with the role of modernizing the military base, which were started a few years ago and are executed at a sustained pace.
