High level aircraft maintenance hangar

The building is intended for the maintenance of 27J SPARTAN type aircraft, IAR 330 PUMA L/S/M type helicopter, and C-130 Hercules, which are part of the Romanian Armed Forces’ equipment.
The metal trusses with a span of 56m represented a real challenge, and we managed to successfully achieve it!

The project includes space for aircraft maintenance, which is equipped with specific protection and operation systems (foam extinguishing system, kerosene vapor denoxing system, frequency converters, anti-ex equipment) and spaces for staff preparation and the conduct of related administrative activities.

The aircraft access doors, designed in a telescopic system, are dimensioned to allow unrestricted access of Hercules C130 type aircraft, having an opening of 56 m and a free height of 12 m.
