It was with enthusiasm and hearts full of hope that I accepted the invitation to attend the HOSPICE Anniversary Gala, which took place on 6 March 2024 at the CEC Palace, where the HOSPICE team celebrated 32 years of caring for patients with incurable diseases.
Our participation in this event is not just a tradition, but a testament to the deep respect and gratitude we have for the vital work that the HOSPICE team carries out.
“We have chosen to support the HOSPICE Foundation so wholeheartedly because, in today’s fast-paced life, it teaches us to value time, with all that it brings and all that it leads to. We thank the HOSPICE Foundation for the opportunity to be with us year after year in this building of good deeds, which it has been building for 32 years”, said Alina Podaru, Chief People Officer at Leviatan Group, during the event.
We are honoured by the “People and Companies for HOSPICE” award, given to our group of companies at the HOSPICE 32nd Anniversary Gala, as well as the wonderful words received from Mirela Nemțanu, CEO of HOSPICE, which we invite you to discover below.
“Over the years, employees from all Leviatan Group companies have used absolutely every support mechanism for HOSPICE. They have been involved in volunteer actions, they have run in all the sports events in which the foundation has been a beneficiary cause, they have been Santa Claus for the children of the Socio-Medical Center in Adunații Copăceni and they have even auctioned art objects at the charity events organized by HOSPICE. They have also made generous sponsorships to the foundation through the 3.5% and 20% employee and company tax rebate schemes respectively. Through the support of the Leviatan Group, HOSPICE Casa Speranței was able to provide 345 days of hospitalization on the unit with beds, 540 home visits and 919 outpatient interventions,” said Mirela Nemțanu, CEO of HOSPICE.
Throughout this year we will participate in new actions to support the HOSPICE Casa Speranței Foundation, which our team is looking forward to participating in. With each step we take together, we write new chapters in the hopeful story of the HOSPICE Foundation.
